PROOF IN THE FIELD

Before Phoenix, Reverence Provisions operated as a core vendor at the Harlem Unity Health Market in 2024.

That season served as a live operating environment.

Products were tested under real public conditions.

Community relationships were built through consistency.

Demand emerged without spectacle.

The experience confirmed something simple. Authored hospitality can live in public space when it is designed with discipline, clarity, and respect for the environment it operates within.

Phoenix grows directly out of that field work.

WHY PHOENIX EXISTS

Restaurants close.
Leases expire.
Media cycles move on.

Authorship does not.

Phoenix exists to create continuity for disciplined hospitality beyond a single room or a single lease.

It moves through seasonal public work that expands access, centers education, and reflects the communities it serves.

The work is deliberate.

The experience is immediate.

The purpose is service.

THE EXPERIENCE

Reverence Phoenix sits at Farmers Gate, the historic 110th Street entrance to Central Park, inside Unity Market. The market itself is a partnership between Team Unity, the Central Park Conservancy, and ReverenceNYC Hospitality Group. It is the first program of its kind at this historic entrance.

The counter overlooks Harlem Meer, shaded by some of the oldest elms in the park. Three courses, rotating seatings, every Saturday from Juneteenth through November. Menus move with the season and draw directly from the farmers and producers working the market that same morning.

Drink pairings are available and built with the same intention as the food.

Reverence Provisions lives alongside the tasting. Ferments, preserves, and pantry preparations developed through the Reverence practice are woven into the menu and available to take home through the Provisions kiosk.

Phoenix is not a restaurant. It is authored hospitality in public space, built to last longer than any lease.

Reverence Phoenix begins with Season Zero, a public culinary residency launching at Unity Market at the 110th Street entrance of Central Park.

Unity Market brings together food, culture, and community programming in one of New York City’s most visible public spaces.

Chef Russell Jackson serves as Curator of Culinary Programming, guiding a rotating series of meals, collaborations, and public culinary events that introduce the Reverence model to the city.

Season Zero establishes the foundation of the project. A living hospitality platform shaped through community participation, visiting chefs, and authored dining experiences.

Private Events

The counter can be reserved for a dedicated group during the regular Saturday service window.

Same menu. Same format. Same discipline. Your party, your rotation.

Private bookings remove seats from public availability. That is reflected in the pricing. Advance inquiry required.
